Christmas is a magical time for all, and we at Kate Kearney’s Cottage have pulled out all the stops to ensure that you, your family and your friends have the most magical time ever.
Santa is on His Way!
We’ve had word from the North Pole and Santa has confirmed he’ll be popping into Kate Kearney’s Cottage again this year.
He’ll be here on Saturdays November 29th, December 6th, 13th and 20th, from 1 to 4:30pm.
He’ll be making his grand entrance by horse and jaunting cart this time. The reindeer are saving every bit of energy for the big night.
What’s Happening on the Day
- Hot chocolate
- Face painting
- Santa’s elves
- Plenty of festive fun and cheer
- Our full bar food menu served all day until 8pm
This is a donation based event in support of the Kerry Hospice Foundation.
Minimum donation: €15
Santa’s Grotto is proudly run in partnership with the Dungeon Bookshop and the Gap of Dunloe Pony Men’s Association.

Christmas Takeaway Dinners
Our Christmas Takeaway Dinners are back and I think a lot of people will be quietly relieved they don’t have to wrestle with a turkey this year.
If you’re planning a cosy Christmas at home but still want that proper festive spread, this is your gentle nudge to get your order in early.
Dinners are €59 per person and orders must be placed before December 20th
Collection will be on Christmas Eve, and we’ll confirm exact pick-up times a little closer to the day.
